(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Third conference to tribute Ayatollah Morteza Mottahari titled "Awakening and Revival of Islamic Thoughts and Purified Wisdom" was held attended by prominent cultural and religious figures.
Concurrent with the martyrdom anniversary of Ayatollah Morteza Mottahariand national Teacher's Day in Iran, third conference on the high thoughts of this martyred cleric and grand professor of Islamic thoughts was held in Tehran.
A joint effort of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and the Organization of the Culture and Islamic Communications, third conference on the high thoughts of Ayatollah Morteza Mottahari and his role in the Islamic awakening was held attended by several Muslim scholars and religious figures.
A participant of this conference, head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri elaborated on the origins of Islamic awakening, aims of the arrogant powers in confronting the recent moves of the Arab countries and the role of Ayatollah Morteza Mottahari in the Islamic awakening.
A former host of the conference in the past two years, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri referred to the failed invasion of the Ottomans to Europe in mid ۱۷th century as the beginning of an Islamic ignorance and that now after three centuries Muslim world has awakened again and is searching its identity.
Grand cleric also elaborated on the aims of the arrogant powers in confronting Islamic awakening and said, "West aims at confronting Islamic awakening through spreading secularism, separation of the Muslim world and keeping Muslim nation as an underdeveloped community." adding that all plots of enemies have been foiled when the Islamic Republic of Iran broke out.
He also stressed the counter measures that the Muslim world has taken against the efforts of the west and said," Muslims have followed three aims in confrontation with the west including unification of their religion and politics, unification of the Muslim world and also moving the world of Islam towards a developed nation."
A student of Ayatollah Mottahri, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskiri counted Islamic awakening as the greatest art of late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini and said, "Ayatollah Morteza Mottahari also stressed the importance of maintaining the Islamic awakening once it was achieved."
According to the head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thoughts, preventing the spread of the Islamic Revolution of Iran has always been an important issue for the world powers though their wish has never realized and now the public movement has broken out in North Africa and Arab countries of the Middle East.
As of the immediate duty of the Muslim world regarding the recent moves in the Middle East he said, "Islamic Revolution awakened Muslim countries and this awakening has to be constantly maintained."
Third conference on the transcended teachings of Ayatollah Morteza Mottahari was held on May second, ۲۰۱۱ in the Iranian capital Tehran to analyze the role of Ayatollah Mortaze Mottahari in Islamic awakening.
